Two Weeks to Go!

We close on the house in two weeks from today. It will be in the morning which means the kids and I will spend the day happily running around an empty house afterward until Husband gets home from work....then we'll probably all run around the empty house. :) Everything should be set and our first big project will be to have a patio door put in and then to build a deck this summer. Husband has been seeking deck plans that will work. We'll need to stay on top of it as we have 6 months to use our deck allowance. The other thing we'll do is paint daughter's room a color that is more suitable for a "Princess." Other than that we'll clean upstairs and everything will be ready. The basement will get an overhaul eventually, but for now it is just fine. We are so excited to finally be in a place that is ours! It will be so wonderful to be able to sit at the kitchen table and watch the kiddies playing in the back yard!

The big kids are excited to get out all the toys that have been packed up. Some since August, and some just for the past 3 or 4 weeks. They have been very understanding through all of the transitions they have been through. It will be great to know that they are going to be in one stable place for a long while.

Well, the house is just about the only thing we are able to think of around here. The countdown is on and we are so thankful for all we have and all that is ahead for us! Hooray!
