The Circus

The circus was in town on Sunday. We went to catch the 4 o'clock show and it was sold out after we waited in line for quite some time. This is not an easy thing to explain to a 3 and 5 year old. But we went back for the second show. The kids had a great time even though they don't look especially jubilant in these photos. They were brewing up bronchial pneumonia(oldest son) and double ear infections(the other two) and bronchitis(youngest son) that we didn't yet know about. So now everyone is medicated and on the road to recovery! Oldest Son said his favorite thing about the circus was "everything" and Daughter said that her favorite thing was the poodles...imagine that! :) Youngest Son loved the music and spent most of the time dancing . He didn't like when the clown car backfired though. He fell apart and made a quick recovery.
