We got to see the Capital Christmas Tree today! It is headed from
Montana to the White House as we speak.
It is 140 years old and they had to cut 30 feet off of it to get it to fit in the trailer!

Imagine a tree that is 140 years old. How great for the children to see it in Dickenson and then later hopefully see it all decorated and being lit on the White House Lawn.
This is a tale they can tell their children and grandchildren some day. Just realized that you wrote this is the Capitol Tree. I was thinking White House. I better bone up. Auntie Joyce
I went back and read your captions and I guess we agree that it is headed for the White House. All is well that ends well. Seeing all of you in photos is a joy. JJ
