The kids are in the full swing of summer activities. Ev is playing baseball...he's got a double header tonight. Both Ev & Lil are taking ceramics this week and having so much fun. They are so excited to bring their masterpieces home. Ev is taking a fitness camp every Tuesday & Thursday which includes tending to a garden and harvesting in August. Lil will be in a summer theater program too. Wow- big kids doing big kid things. Lake and I have had a little time to ourselves this week spent at the greenhouse checking out all of the cool flowers and trees. Brent has been busy with work but has still made the commitment to coach Ev's team which has been a great bonding experience for them. I am finishing the books for the 2010-2011 school year and starting preparations for the new school year. It will be here before we know it...but in these 12 glorious weeks between now and then we plan to squeeze every drop out of summer that we can!!
We are so fortunate to have the Badlands so close for hiking and scenic drives. A great community with so many recreation options each day an amazing father/husband who provides us with all of our needs and best of all a God who has blessed us with healthy bodies and minds to enjoy all of His creation.
